Print is not dead - Make your daddy proud!

This project's objective was to highlight the essence of print- to remind graphic designers that print is a necessity and that it should not be done away with. We had to collaborate with an already established printing organisation that would aid in the encouragement of people printing again.

The creative idea behind this project was to promote graphic designers, the print industry and the average joe to make their daddy proud. But the question is... who is your daddy? And what does your father have to do with anything of this?

An informative book publication on the establishment of print and typography was created in order to inspire people of the forgotten brain child, conceived by Johannes Gutenberg.
In addition to this publication, a voucher and a post card was incorporated, firstly to sway customers of the printing place, '24 Hours Printing', to come print more often and to entice word of mouth through these give- aways... A way of advertising I suppose.

The post card was given in addition for people to reach out back to the printing place if they were curious to find out who their "daddy" was. A board game, that resembles that of scrabble- as well as specifically lettered blocks, would be sent to the person/s interested, and would eventually figure out who their daddy is- in order to make him proud and to let his legacy live on.
